Child and Family Services (CFS) Centre

This treaty 6 First Nation community was delivering Child and Family Services out of buildings never designed for them. Under CHRT 41 and Jordan's Principle the funding exists — but it only goes to projects that can prove they're ready to proceed.

We started with the programs, not the building.

Land-based camps, youth mentorship, art and equine therapy, family counselling, specialist clinical care. Every service the Centre would hold was translated into what it actually needs — room to move, privacy, the right equipment, space for more than one family at once.

That became a staffing model, an organizational chart, and a room-by-room program sized for ten years of growth rather than today's caseload.

The result is a 48,000 sq ft Family Wellness Centre the Nation can take to a funder with the evidence already in hand.
